PHOENIX provides technologies for liquid-solid separation, dewatering, slurry thickening, water clarification and filtration, effluent water treatment, wastewater treatment and solids classification around the world. Our technologies are used for processing raw materials in a variety of markets including aggregate, frac sand, industrial, mining, municipal water and wastewater treatment, commercial water recycling and water reuse.

Plant operators rely on PHOENIX for processing construction aggregates such as sand, frac sand, silica sand and gravel, mining minerals such as coal, iron ore and oil shale, to wash plant effluent, waste and sludge.   

Through processes developed and refined over the past 40 years we’ve provided equipment and maintenance to facilities needing improved dewatering efficiency and performance. Serving a broad range of markets, PHOENIX equipment and products are designed to meet the individual demands of a broad range of customers throughout the world.

Our Belt Presses and Filter Presses are designed to dewater slurries of pre-thickened solids from a liquid phase to a conveyable and stackable solid. PHOENIX presses are available in several different sizes and configurations, each suited to specific applications.

Along with our presses, we offer chemical systems that mix and deliver flocculants and coagulants to a plant’s equipment. These thickening and dewatering chemicals can be used to enhance the performance of many pieces of equipment PHOENIX provides. PHOENIX chemical systems are designed to work hand in hand with AltaFlo and HiFlo Thickeners and PHOENIX belt presses.

To improve operating costs and efficiency, PHOENIX offers in-house lab testing. Samples directly from a plant are tested in various simulations to help recommend specific chemicals and dosages to the customer.
